AI was used strictly to clean up the background noise and isolate John's vocal. The original cassette recording had a piano on it, as well as a TV in the background and an electrical hum. AI made it possible to have a clean recording of John's voice by removing all of those unwanted sounds.
It was NOT used to alter, re-create or improve his voice in any way. Only to isolated it.
